Add Cities in iPhone Weather App
Follow the steps below to Add a City or Location to the Weather App on your iPhone.
1. Start the Weather App on your iPhone.
2. Next, tap on the 3-line list icon located at the bottom right corner of your screen.
3. On the next screen, tap on “+” icon from the lower right corner of your screen.
4. In the search bar, type in the name of the City that you would like to Add to the Weather app on your iPhone and tap on the Search Result that exactly matches the City or Location.
The selected City will be added to the Weather App and your iPhone will start displaying the temperature and other weather related information for the new City that you just added to the Weather App on your iPhone.
Remove Cities in iPhone Weather App
1. Start the Weather App on your iPhone.
2. Next, tap on the 3-line list icon, located at the bottom right corner of your screen.
3. On the next screen, tap and hold on the City Name that you want to remove and then swipe left to reveal the Delete Option.
4. Simply, tap on the Delete option to remove the City from the Weather App on your iPhone (See image above)
The selected City will be deleted from the Weather App and you will no longer see the Weather information for the City that you just deleted from the Weather App.
Rearrange Cities in iPhone Weather App
In case you have added multiple Cities or Locations to the Weather app on your iPhone, you may come across the need to Rearrange Cities by moving them up or down the list.
1. Start the Weather App on your iPhone.
2. Next, tap on the 3-line list icon, located at the bottom right corner of your screen.
3. On the next screen, tap and hold on the City Name that you would like to move up or down the list.
4. Next, drag the selected City to the position that you would like to see it on the iPhone Weather App and Release your finger to allow your iPhone to Rearrange the list.
You can Repeat this process; in case you have other Cities or Locations that you would like to Re-arrange on the iPhone Weather app.
Change Reporting From Celsius to Fahrenheit in iPhone Weather App
While performing above steps, you may have noticed the °C/°F button at lower left side of the screen. This button allows you to change the temperature reporting in the iPhone Weather app.
1. Start the Weather App on your iPhone.
2. Next, tap on the 3-line list icon, located at the bottom right corner of your screen.
3. On the next screen, tap the °C/°F button at the bottom left side of your screen. You will immediately see the temperature reporting changing from Metric to Imperial scale (or vice-versa).
4. Tap the °C/°F button again to get back the readings to Centigrade or Metric readings again.
The °C/°F button works like a toggle, making it really easy to change the temperature readings from Celsius to Fahrenheit in the Weather App display on your iPhone.
